I am running for office as a candidate for a state representative seat in Ohio House District 73.

Here is why that is so ...

A majority voted “yes” last November 7, 2023 to include your hard gained freedoms into an Ohio constitutional amendment via Issue 1.

Republican lawmakers are on the record stating they do not want you to keep your reproductive healthcare freedoms.

When I was 11 years old our family lived in a five story walk up in Laon, France. Our mother miscarried what would have been her sixth child.

It was a sad day for the family. However, for my mother, she received excellent care from the Air Force medical staff at the nearby Air Force Base.

My wife, Stacey, and myself were living in South Florida with our first two children in the mid 1980’s having left Ohio in a deep reccession.

Stacey inexplicably experienced two miscarriages. Stacey received the prompt and proper care by medical professionals in the county.

Life continued, we were blessed with two other children afterward. Of those four children two daughters have had two babies, one daughter has had one baby.

The well-being and care for their offspring, our four granddaughters is paramount.

There today are actions being taken by misdirected Ohio GOP legislators, on the record stating that they want to disallow the law for protected reproductive healthcare freedoms as time goes by.

This should not and cannot happen.

For this reason, to protect reproductive healthcare freedoms gained and to preserve democracy, and other equally important Issues, I am contesting the seat held by the opponent, originally appointed, not elected to, for the office of state representative.

I am vying for an Ohio House seat in District 73 of the Ohio General Assembly, on a certified ballot, from Fairfield County Board of Elections.
